"The Plum Tree" focuses on the martial arts world of ancient women, who may travel the world with swords, play the zither and chess, or cover their faces with veils. This photo album captures a series of wonderful movements and expressions, showing the unique charm of women in the martial arts world and their heroic spirit that is no less than that of men.



About the Author
Born in 1989. Lives and works in Beijing. Graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor's degree in painting in 2012 and from the Dutch Art Institute (DAI) with a master's degree in 2016. Hu Wei's works involve a variety of media, trying to establish a connection between external reality and "artistic narrative", focusing on technology and people.
